Husband and wife, Rich and Trish Walker offer a booth with ceramic arts and fine art photography to showcase pottery created by Trish and photographs from both artists. Trish has been a potter for almost ten years, and she uses many different firing methods- including gas fire and soda fire, and clay bodies- including both stoneware and porcelain, to create a variety of unique and colorful designs. Trish makes her pottery in her home studio and she is actively involved with the Burnish Clay Studio in Bellingham. Come and see her porcelain swirl cups, her western style belt designs and her vintage license plate platters. The booth also features Trish and Rich’s photographs of nature, landscapes, wildlife, city scenes, abstract, and the beautiful flowers that surround us everywhere. Photos are on display from many parts of the world, including Iceland, the Canadian Rockies, Alaska, the American Southwest, the East Coast beaches, the botanical gardens of the Southeast, and many areas close by such as Oregon, British Columbia and right here in Washington state. There are even pictures of scenes you’ll recognize from right here in the Lynden area of Whatcom County. Trish and Rich are new residents of Lynden, having moved into their retirement home in October 2019 after many years in the Atlanta, Georgia suburbs. They have exhibited their artworks in the Roswell, Georgia Farmers and Artisans Market for three years. We are happy to have a farmer’s market home in Lynden and look forward to meeting many new friends here.
