Five Elements Harvest is Whatcom County's first Net-Zero certified farm. We produce all our power from our 18KwH solar array. We follow organic standards. Our sets or starts are grown in our greenhouse from organic seed in OMRI listed potting soil and hardened off before sale. We use the same sets on our farm. We use aquaponics, bermed cold frames, hoophouses, rainwater capture and regenerative soil farming methods. Farm tours are available on request.
We grow vegetables and raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, table grapes, hardy kiwi, plums, peaches, apples, and Asian pears. We're preparing Mt. Baker view event space, have a separate rental unit for farm stays, and are working on certifying our separate canning kitchen for event use and for drying fruit for year-round sale. See our farm webpage fiveelementsharvest.com for additional information and updates.
